The aim of the course is to educate student on theoretical and didactic models for designing, conducting and managing programs
of inclusive and adapted sports activities, individual or group, as a tool to improve and promote the well-being of people, taking in order to improve and promote the well-being of people, considering the specificities of gender, age and individual psycho-physical condition.
At the end of the course the student will:
- know the theoretical and methodological principles of inclusive and adapted sport according with age, gender, and disability.
- know and applies the right teaching methodologies as a function of context, disability, age, and gender;
- is aware of the educational potential of different inclusive and adapted sports proposals;
- know how to organize and manage groups in relation to the sports disciplines;
- consciously and critically use the scientific material discussed throughout the course.
Knowledge, skills and competences in designing and planning a sports training
The educational path harmoniously integrates theory and practice, divided into two main sections. The first part of the course (4 CFU) will focus on the acquisition of theoretical bases through lectures and discussions. The second part (4 CFU), of a practical-laboratory nature, will instead require active and constant participation, with a mandatory attendance of 70% as required by the teaching regulations. In both phases, ample space will be given to collaborative teaching methodologies, such as group work, peer tutoring and debriefing sessions, in order to stimulate constructive feedback between peers.
The assessment of the learning objectives will be done orally. The exam will focus on general and specific topics with respect to the lesson program, in which clarity of exposition and the ability to express oneself using specific technical language will be appreciated.
During the course, students will have the opportunity to carry out activities (group work and presentations). These tests will contribute to the final assessment. The specific methods of these activities will be communicated at the beginning of the course.
- The organization of the Italian and international sports system in relation to inclusive and adapted sports
- Motricity, the body and corporeity in the didactic and educational relationship in inclusive and adapted sports activities;
- The Paralympic sports system;
- The educational model of inclusive sports: the concept of Universal Design for Learning and Designed for All applied to sports activities;
For working students or those with other specific needs, it is advisable to contact the teacher. For ERASMUS students, it is possible to agree on the exam program with the teacher. All the teaching material presented during the lessons is made available on the Moodle platform.
