Syllabus

Course Objectives

Students, in line with the objectives of the Degree Course, will refine their knowledge and communicative and expressive abilities in the French language at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference and will acquire the tools for the analysis of a literary text in French.

Course Prerequisites

CEFR B1 level of competence in French language.

Teaching Methods

Lectures in French and Italian with multimedia tools. Particular attention will be paid to a teaching methodology that includes and encourages interaction and dialogue with students.
Students can also access the training activities planned as part of weekly language for their level of expertise, as well as tutoring activities planned during the year (see Language Competence Centre).

Assessment Methods

The learning assessment consists of an oral question on the course content. To be admitted to this examination, you must first have passed a written test testing your understanding and analysis of a text by means of a questionnaire with open questions. The result of the written test (pass - fail) will be communicated on the day of the examination and, in the event of a positive result, will immediately give access to the oral examination. If you do not wish to take the oral examination in the same roll call, the written examination remains valid for 18 months. The final assessment is based on the result of the oral examination, also taking into account the language skills tested in the written test, and will be expressed in idoneità (pass).

Contents

The course will provide the tools of analysis of a literary text, through the study of various textual typologies.

The knowledge and the lexical and linguistic skills will be related to both the written and the oral language.

The professor's communications to the students on the course will take place by e-mail via the e-learning area, to which all students should therefore promptly subscribe.
