Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims at providing the basic knowledge of Python language with applications on Finance models and theories. At the end of the course the student will know the basics of programming techniques in Python programming language. In particular, the student will:

- learn Python language in procedural, functional and object-oriented programming;

- be able to import data from external sources (e.g. text files, data providers), and

- manipulate data with the main data structures provided by the language and its libraries.
