The aim of the course is to provide students with legal knowledge and interpretative tools to develop the ability to understand the interaction between regulatory interventions and new economic phenomena and that of juridically framing emerging issues in contemporary markets. At the end of the course the student knows the dynamics and tools of economic regulation (at national and European level) and how public intervention has evolved in the last decades and how this presents itself at this time
No pre-requisites required
Frontal teaching will be limited to providing the theoretical framework and the illustration of the legal institutions necessary for the student to be able to carry out the workshop activities proposed during the course, through which the student will learn and deepen the course topics
The final test consists of an oral question expressed out of thirty.
For students who do not have the possibility or intention to attend, the question will focus on the course program, which coincides with the manual indicated on Leganto
Attending students can choose to bring the project they developed during the workshops as part of the final exam, replacing this with the corresponding part of the manual.
The course starts from an analysis of the models of public intervention in the economy, through the study of the regulations that define the relationship between the State and the market (also in the light of European law).
In particular, the following topics will be examined:
- Forms and aims of public action in the economy
- The "economic constitution"
-Market transformations: ecological transition, digital transition, new economic regulation, competition discipline
