Teaching Methods

Classes will consist of theoretical-practical sessions held in the computer laboratory and will be divided into two parts.

In the first part, theoretical explanations of the lesson topics will be provided.

The second part will include practical exercises based on the theoretical content covered in the first part.

All exercises will be available on the e-learning platform: https://elearning15.unibg.it/course/view.php?id=3270.

Assessment Methods

Assessment Methods

Students’ skills in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel will be assessed through a practical test. The evaluation will be on a pass/fail basis.

To pass the assessment, students must achieve a satisfactory result in both the Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel sections.

In the Microsoft Word task, the accuracy of document formatting and the use of the main software features will be evaluated.

In the Microsoft Excel task, students will be assessed on their knowledge of formulas, data entry and copying within the spreadsheet, and their ability to represent data using charts.

Ongoing assessments will be conducted during the course. Students who achieve a passing score in both sections through these ongoing assessments will be considered to have passed the course. Students who do not participate in or do not pass the ongoing assessments must take the final practical exam.
