The course is reserved for students who have not passed the Italian language part of the TOLC-SU or who have not taken the TOLC-SU.
Exercises on texts and workshop lessons on language issues and grammatical doubts.
Three exams are scheduled for OFA, one per session. The OFA exam is computerized and takes place in the laboratory.
The knowledge and language skills of attending students will be tested in itinere during the course through a (non-computerized) test taken in presence. This test, if passed, will exempt students from taking the exam.
Text comprehension exercises (multiple choice questions, true or false, cloze, etc.) and grammar review (morphology and syntax).

Please note that all those who have not passed the Italian language portion of the TOLC-SU or who have not taken the TOLC-SU must fulfill the relevant OFA. Acquittance is essential in order to take the Italian Language and Italian Literature exams; and to be able to enroll in the second year.
