Thanks to the knowledge acquired during the course, students will have the ability to analyze linguistic phenomena with the analytical depth of contemporary linguistics, both from an internal/structural point of view and from an external/use-related point of view, going beyond the prescriptive grammatical approach acquired in the previous school career.
Basic knowledge of grammatical and logical analysis.
Teaching will take place through in-person lectures and exercises. The topics of the lessons will also be adapted to the interests expressed by the students and to the languages part of their study program.
Written exam graded out of thirty.
Basic topics of general linguistics, historical linguistics, sociolinguistics, and dialectology.
The course will be held in the second semester (third and fourth subperiods).
