abstract:
The chapter describes the economic sanctions imposed on Iran and how they affected the sectoral exports of Italy and the economic conditions in Iran. The theoretical issues regarding the measurement of economic effects of the sanctions are also discussed and the impact of the lifting of the sanctions starting from the 2014 EU+3 agreement is also explored.
