(2018). Poesía y publicidad en Ana Rossetti: una lectura desde la ironía desmitificadora . Retrieved from http://hdl.handle.net/10446/119975
abstract:
Ana Rossetti is the author of two epigrams emerged from the ekphrastic reading and from the intermedial transposition of two advertisements: "Chico Wrangler" and the visual poem "Calvin Klein Underwear." Beyond gender writing and beyond postmodern metarepresentation, which don’t clarify the complete meaning of the two poems, we want to go into detail about the fact that resources such as irony, juxtaposition and the baroque language are not just a formal suit, but they define a parody of the commercialization of the scopophilia promoted in advertising.
To this end, after a quick look on the poetic career of Rossetti, we will see how she expresses her heterodoxy by the ironic demystification of postmodern social order, which imposes the illusory inveiglement of pleasure and desire.
