abstract:
The essays collected in this volume not only aim at tracing for the first time the presence of Benn's poetry in Italian culture from 1920 to the new millenium; they also attempt a new approach to his poetry which non longer obeys to ideological prejudices or simplifying postmodernism. In doing so, they also offer an importatnt testimony about the relationship between Italian and German culture in the XXth and XXI century.
