Fenomeni di corrosione delle infrastrutture metalliche di rilevanza storica

The paper presents a general overview on typical corrosion phenomena of riveted metallic infrastructures of historic importance. A significant example is analyzed, in relation to the morphologies of long-term degradation processes, with respect to the design of the structural elements, the peculiarities of the joining solutions, the selection of protection and maintenance systems.
