The adult who accepts the challenge of education today finds himself vulnerable because he finds himself building on land made fragile by the lack of a future and through a weak and frayed generational relationship. Yet, just the common vulnerability inhabited by adults and children can be the place to recognize themselves, it can be the threshold from which to look towards proximity paths. The time of crisis can become fertile only if the vulnerability, characteristic of human nature, turns to the bond and creativity. Education, re-read in the light of vulnerability, calls for adults engaged in education. But who is the adult today? How do you become an adult? The research intends to consider the adult-child relationship without indulging in the emergency like a sudden issue to remedy, instead of observing it as an openness to what emerges from humanity. In the last part of the volume, we will therefore look at vulnerability, not as impotence, but "in-power", that is, opportunities to support adult educational potential.
