Diritto alla vita come diritto alla fragilità

The essay speaks of human frailty and, in particular, the frailty of the child. Fragility is described as an ontological condition of the human being. Fragility is then read in the relationship with vulnerability and the rights of children in a vision that interprets the possibilities/impossibilities of minors to become "authentic people", that is, their being-forced-to-be, instead, to offer the possibility of being. Therefore, the right to fragility becomes the right of children to be recognized not only as needy subjects, but also as subjects of resources to be protected and promoted. Children’s rights are relational rights.
