abstract:
The article describes the need for developing strategies for visual literacy, by examining the history of art as an exemplary model for the theoretical and practical study of images in contemporary society. In particular, the history of art is considered to be the most appropriate discipline to formulate a pedagogy of visual pragmatism that enables the development of knowledge through images that connects humanities, sciences, and technology.
