Abstract:
This article examines the lexeme Mauer (wall) in the Berliner Wendekorpus, a collection of interviews with East and West Berliners collected in the early 1990s. The analysis aims to identify recurrent contexts of use of this lexeme in order to determine its semantic and discursive use in the corpus data.
