Sic transit. Osservazioni sulla teoria althusseriana della trasformazione sociale ricostruita da Fabio Bruschi

In this paper, I discuss the reconstruction offered by Fabio Bruschi of the Althusserian theory of social transformation. In particular, I consider the way in which the emergence of historical novelty is conceived, comparing it with other theories. Subsequently, I critically examine the interpretation that he offers of the so-called " materialism of encounter", thereby raising some objections.
