Nascono gli ITS Academy. Finalmente anche in Italia una buona filiera terziaria professionalizzante

On 12.July 2022 the Chamber of Deputies definitively approved the establishment of the tertiary System of Higher Technological Education and Training, non academic, strongly linked to the production system of a European nature with multiple outputs (two years and three years) for fifth and sixth level qualifications. They are called ITS Academy. The term Academy recalls the role of the innovation and research centers of enterprises. Their mission is more evident and attractive for young people and their families. The ITS Academies are characterized by the reference to the technological areas that strongly characterize the economic and social development of the 21st century, where the challenges of innovation are more relevant especially in relation to the objectives of the PNRR, such as the ecological and digital transition and new technologies for relaunching the competitiveness of Made in Italy.The ITS Academies become a place of intermediation for a rapid and qualified transition of young people from professional training to the world of work. A concrete and widespread tool throughout the country starts in Italy to bridge the mismatch between supply and demand for highly specialized work, which has so far heavily influenced the competitiveness of businesses and employability of your people.
