Abstract:
The author reflects on the comprehensibility of Dante’s language
and the necessity of the interpretation of the Commedia, implemented
through paraphrases and translations that have multiplied on the occasion
of the centenary. Some examples of transfers of Dante’s text show the
merits and limits of these unavoidable operations.
