The chapter analyzes the attitude of the Italian museums in regards with migration in recent years, within the background of the European and international landscape. Beyond categorizing the most common museum policies (in regards with curatorship, education, representation, co-researching etc), the essay focuses on the risk of slippery, patronizing attitude that tend to crystallize a status quo instead of questioning it.
