The essay reports the voice of the male educators working in early childhood services, and examines, in the life stories, the crucial points also in connection to the relationship with families and with the female colleagues. The stories are re-read through some key themes that also emerge from International literature: hybridization of masculinity, statute of profession, body and emotions, the shadow of pedophilia.
