Il discorso politico tra lingua scritta e parlata: processi di riscrittura nei resoconti stenografici del parlamento tedesco

This paper aims to analyse a particular case of re-writing, namely the stenographic records of speeches given in German Parliament. After a brief description of a possible linguistic approach to the relationship between oral and written language, actual speeches and their stenographic records will be compared to examine differences and similarities, considering the persuasive role of oral and written language and the way they intertwine in political discourse.
