Espressioni idiomatiche e proverbi nel "Nibelungenlied": soluzioni traduttive a confronto

Idioms and proverbs often present a high level of difficulty in translation. The paper addresses the wide range of possible strategies to face this challenge, comparing six translations of the “Nibelungenlied” in three languages: German, English, and Italian. The analysis will further consider the complex issues related to the so-called “intertemporal translation”.
