abstract:
The aim of the essay is to introduce some data and some issues regarding the relationship between gender and work, adopting not simply a focus on women's issues (as gender is traditionally and still understood today in many areas), but proposing a gender sensitive methodology, that is, a look that draws on research practices and techniques sensitive to peculiarities, to gender differences and convergences, that is, adopting a relational look at the sexes and genders. These are methods of detection, analysis and interpretation of phenomena related to the production of gender identities; the declination of these identities in the different roles that a subject finds himself playing in the public and private dimensions of his or her life, the inequalities related to gender belonging, the relationship between gender identity and social change.
