Salvo D’Agostino and the History of Physics: Relativity and Quantum Physics

Here I would like to discuss Salvo D’Agostino’s perspective on the History of Physics, which he pursued in his writings and which he left us as a cultural heritage. Through the memory of various personal conversations and the analysis of some of his writings, I will try to bring out the fundamental cultural value that he attributed to the History of Physics. I will then analyze some of his works on the theory of relativity and quantum physics, aimed at bringing out the philosophical, gnoseological and ontological aspects of physics.
