The gradual replacement of human labor by technology and the increasing dehumanization of work forms that are reduced to mere survival are significantly altering both the methods and the lived experience of working. At the same time, phenomena such as the “Great Resignation” following the pandemic highlight a widespread search for renewed meaning by many workers. In light of these challenges, how can we pedagogically rethink and redesign work as a transformation of reality through which individuals respond to their primary needs in connection with their desire for self-realization?
