abstract:
The aim of this essay is to investigate the contribution of the Centre for Professional Education for Social Workers and the Civic Collaboration Movement, educational associations gravitating around the circles of a secular and reformed left-wing, which moved towards reconstruction as an exquisitely pedagogical problem. It was a question of culturally lively perspectives, which sank their ideal matrices into a rather heterogeneous arch of intellectuals, from Salvemini to the classics of AngloSaxon democratic thought, first and foremost Dewey. Privileged key to understanding remained the courses for the training of teachers, social workers and personnel who in various capacities would hold the role of educator in society
