abstract:
This analysis examines the relationship between the Life Project and school planning, emphasising that
the PEI is the means by which schools can contribute to the life planning of disabled persons in a tangible way. In the context of the most recent regulatory framework, the Life Project is configured as a
unified, participatory framework that informs educational choices. The PEI then translates these objectives into everyday school life, ensuring consistency between different life contexts. This relationship plays a strategic role in upper secondary education, where students consolidate the skills, guidance and initial experiences they need to transition to adulthood. PCTOs and collaborations with the local community are crucial in promoting the autonomy, identity and effective participation of persons with disabilities. As part of an inter-institutional
network, schools must therefore adopt a forwardlooking approach, supporting students in achieving
their desires and aspirations beyond school hour
