Phaenotypologie

Chapter
Publication Date:
2016
abstract:
The essay is an attempt to demonstrate how the scientific concept of phenotype became significant for Benn and his poetry as a solution to experiment a style deprived from a subjective point of view. The phenotypical structure of his verse and prose is here considered as the most significant realization of his nihilistic and post-nihilistic poetical philosophy.
