Viviana Meschitti, Ph.D, is associate professor at the Department of Management, University of Bergamo. Previously she was a senior lecturer (2019-2021) and lecturer (2017-2019) at the University of Huddersfield (UK), and a post-doc research assistant at Birkbeck, University of London (2014-2017).
Credentials PhD in Communication Sciences (2012) at Università della Svizzera italiana - USI, Lugano (CH). Master of Science in Communication, Major in Media Management (2006) at USI, Lugano (CH). Erasmus student at ICHEC Brussels Management School (2004).
Research Viviana Meschitti conducts research in the field of organization studies, in particular on the topics of leadership, team management, gender equality and gender differences in career pathways. She published in international journals such as Leadership, Culture and Organization, Studies in Higher Education, Personnel Review, Employee Relations, Gender in Management. She is a member of the Research Centre for Healthy Longevity (CHL) at the University of Bergamo. She is an editorial board member of the Journal of Research in Gender Studies (Addleton Academic Publishers).
Professional Activities Viviana Meschitti is the Delegate for Internationalization in the Department of Business Management Sciences at the University of Bergamo. She is co-directing a Master in Human Resource Management organized by the University of Bergamo together with the University of Milan. She is currently a co-chair for the organization of the 42th EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) Colloquium at Unibg.
