After obtaining his high school diploma in science, in 2014 he graduated with a master's degree in Building Engineering-Architecture from the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trento. In 2022, at the same university, he obtained a PhD with honours in Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering. He is currently a full-time researcher on a fixed-term contract under Law 240/10 at the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the University of Bergamo in GSD 08/CEAR-04, SSD CEAR-04/A – Geomatics. Previously, he held a research grant (May 2024 – October 2025) on “T.AGRIF. Remote sensing for AGRIFood” in the same department. He carries out research in the areas covered by CEAR-04/A, in accordance with the relevant declaration and with particular reference to remote sensing, digital photogrammetry and the processing of aerial and satellite images of any spectral band, as well as specific methodological, applicative and experimental activities typical of the scientific discipline. From October 2023 to April 2024, he was awarded a scholarship at the interdepartmental research centre (L.U.P.T.) of the University of Naples Federico II for activities related to the European project KNOWING - Framework for defining climate mitigation pathways based on understanding and integrated assessment of climate impacts, adaptation strategies and societal transformation. He is a member of AUTEC (University Association of Surveyors and Cartographers) and SIFET (Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography). He participates as a speaker at numerous national and international congresses and conferences. He is the author and co-author of works on topics related to SSD CEAR-04/A - Geomatics, presented at national and international conferences and published in indexed journals of international and national relevance.
