Davide Previtali was born in Bergamo (BG), Italy, in 1995. He received the M.Sc. degree (summa cum laude) in Computer Science and Engineering in 2019 and the Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2023, from the University of Bergamo, Italy. He is currently a Fixed-term Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the University of Bergamo (section 09/G1 (Automatica)) and teaches the course Data Science and Automation for the Mechatronics and Smart Technology Engineering curricula. His main research interests include black-box and preference-based optimization, identification and control of dynamical systems, and topics related to lithium-ion batteries.
