Academic Position:
Tenure Track Researcher (RTT) at the Department of Management, University of Bergamo.
Visiting scholar at Southern Denmark University and Cardiff Business School.
Departmental coordinator of the joing degree program "MERCURI", a European Master in Customer Relationship Marketing.
He is a member of the Junior Faculty Community of the Italian Marketing Society.
Education:
PhD in Business and Law from the University of Bergamo.
Research:
His scientific research primarily focuses on the intersection of branding and the digital platform ecosystem, as well as market dynamics in technological industries, mainly through text-as-data and digital methods approaches.
He has published articles in leading high-impact international academic journals such as Psychology & Marketing; Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Brand Management, AMS Review, among others.
His research has been featured in prominent media outlets such as Forbes, The Conversation, and The Washington Post.
He has received awards for research excellence, including the SIM-BNL Award for Best Doctoral Thesis (2023), the Best Global Brand Conference Paper Award (2022). Through his research, he secure different competitive national and international grants, such as the 2022 PRIN and the 2025 Academy of Marketing Research Funding.
Teaching and Supervision:
He teaches a range of courses in marketing, consumer behavior, and market research across Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD programs. He has (co)supervised more than 50 Bachelor's or Master's theses.
Professional Activities:
Since 2024, he has been part of the applied research group Marketing Lhab within the Department of Management, which aims to collaborate with companies on market research, marketing strategies, and branding initiatives.
