Assessment Methods

There is a single final exam in multiple choice format lasting 60 minutes.

More specifically, the exam includes 26 questions, both quantitative and qualitative, for each of which the student must select the only correct answer from the four proposed. Each correct answer awards 1.2 points, each incorrect or unanswered answer does not award points or penalties.

Contents

The course aims to provide a basic knowledge of the main financial, insurance and pension products available to individuals and businesses. After a brief overview of the elements that make up the financial system and the functions performed by it, the first part of the course focuses on investment and financing instruments of banking origin. The second part of the course addresses the financial instruments typically traded on the markets, both directly and through forms of assisted intermediation, and the instruments of insurance and pension origin. Each instrument will be analyzed from both a theoretical and technical point of view in order to promote a basic but at the same time concrete knowledge in operational terms.
