Laura Pellegrini (BA Economics of Institutions and Financial Markets, (Milan Catholic U.), PhD in Economic Policy (Piacenza Catholic U.) She obtained National Qualification as Associate Professor of Banking and Finance in 2017. She is Assistant Professor in Financial Intermediaries, Department of Management, University of Bergamo where she teaches Investments, Sustainable Finance and Financial Markets and Instruments. She teaches also Corporate Restructuring at Catholic University, Milan. Research Fellow of the Center on Economic, Social and Cooperation Dynamics (CESC); University of Bergamo and for Center for Applied Economics Studies (CSEA) at Catholic University in Milan. Delegated for Orientation activities for the Department of Management (University of Bergamo) and she actively participates in many activities within the NRRP projects. One of the Contact person for Technological cluster within the TRANSET PROJECT of the Department of Management (Department of Excellence for the period 2023-2027, MIUR). She actively participates in public engagement activities also. Member of Editorial Board of the Universal Journal of Accounting and Finance and referees for several International Academic Journals (Journal of International Financial Management & Accounting; Journal of Infrastructure, Policy and Development, Eurasian Business Review; Scientific Reports; Universal Journal of Accounting and Finance; Herald Journal of Education and General Studies; International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies). She participates in various research activities within international academic groups.
Main research interests include issues of Banking and Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance, Systemic risk, ESG and sustainability issues, Political Connections and Corruption, Stability and efficiency in financial intermediaries, Law and Finance and Law and Economics. She is author of books and articles at international and national level.
