Assessment Methods

There is a single final exam in multiple choice format lasting 60 minutes. More specifically, the exam includes 26 questions, both quantitative and qualitative in nature, for each of which the student must select the one correct answer from the four proposed. Each correct answer awards 1.2 points; each wrong or no answer awards neither points nor penalty.

Contents

The course aims to provide a basic understanding of the main financial, insurance and pension products available to individuals and businesses. After a brief overview of the elements that make up the financial system and its functions, the first part of the course focuses on bank-based investment and products. The second part of the course deals with financial instruments typically traded in markets, either directly or through assisted forms of intermediation, including insurance and pension funds. Each instrument will be analyzed from both theoretical and technical perspectives.
