Manuela Geranio, Ph.D, is Full professor of Finance at the Department of Management, University of Bergamo. She is Director of the Master of Science in Management, Innovation and Finance.
Credentials: PhD in Business Administration (focus Finance) and Graduate Program in Business Administration from Bocconi University. Master CEMS MIM in international business (Bocconi-ESADE).
Research: Her scientific research focuses mainly on securities markets, including the evolution of stock exchanges’ strategies, equity markets for SMEs and their impact on the real economy, IPO’s and ADRs, Public-to-private deals, home bias and international financial flows. Her research appeared in international journals such as European Financial Management, Journal of International Money and Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance. She published a book for Springer and some chapters for Oxford University Press.
Professional Activities: Board member at Banca di Asti. Member of the Euribor Oversight Committee at the European Money Market Institute. Member of the Financial Stability and Risk Monitoring Working Group at ESMA. Adjunct professor at Bocconi University.
