Teaching Methods

The course will be developed by integrating theoretical presentations - grounding concepts and vocabulary - with workshop sessions characterised by collaborative learning activities and active teaching methodologies (see Workshop programme associated with the course).

There will be seminars with external guests to encourage students to meet with professionals from the educational sector.

Lessons will be offered exploiting the different digital media and languages (slides, videos, web resources, applications for collaborative work), also with attention to the different learning modes of the students.

At the end of the theoretical lessons, collaborative multimedia maps will be constructed together with the students, which can be used by everyone as a study support.

Ideas for activities and supplementary materials will be available on the course's Moodle platform.

During the workshops, activities will be proposed that, on the basis of the objectives and indications given by the lecturer, will allow students to use different tools (including technological tools) and languages according to their own preferences.

Students with documented needs and registered with the Office for Services to Students with Disabilities and/or DSA must contact the lecturer in order to agree on useful adaptations for studying and taking the exam.

Assessment Methods

WRITTEN EXAM: answers to 3 questions (2 questions with theoretical content pertaining to modules 1 and 3; 1 MANDATORY question pertaining to the Workshops in which a brief didactic design will be requested - see Workshop Syllabus). Each question may be answered within a maximum number of lines and will be awarded a weighted mark which will be added together for each question up to a maximum of 31/30 (honours awarded for original, well-prepared and well-defined assignments from a didactic perspective). Students may replace the laboratory question with project activities agreed with the lecturer during the laboratory lessons. Duration of test: 70 minutes for those who answer the 2 theory questions; 90 minutes for those who answer the 2 theory questions and the laboratory question.
