Propaedeuticity: for students on the LM1 French Language Course, passing the AAL tests is mandatory in order to take the oral examination.

Teaching Methods

During the year, students may be required individual or group works that contribute to the final evaluation.

Assessment Methods

The examination consists of two parts:

To qualify for the annual oral examination, students must have passed every single written or oral proficiency test (see Formative Objectives).NB: the following indications refer to the entire French language course LM2 consisting of module A and module B. The tests are organized as follows: 1) Thème (translation from Italian into French); 2) Mediation (written report of videos in French and Italian. For a detailed description of these tests, consult the AAL French Language C1 + refer to the pages of the Centro Competenza Lingue.

The partial test consists of an in-itinere test. Attending students may, as an alternative to the reference literature, submit a dossier containing excerpts from institutional texts (at least three) analyzed according to the criteria and contents explained in class. Non-attending students answer questions on the reference literature. It also takes into account communicative skills of the required level (C1+).

AAL tests count for one-third of the final grade. The oral examination grade, given by the average of the grade achieved in Module A and Module B, counts for two-thirds of the final grade.
