Historical excursus on children's literature from antiquity to the present day through a logically thoughtful review of themes, genres and authors. Particular attention will be given to the pedagogical role of storytelling for young children, the representation of childhood in various historical eras, and the significance of the fairy tale in its literary, historical and anthropological value, including through the reading of specific excerpts and re-presentation of classics.
