abstract:
Co-design is a recent approach to social practice, particularly within the public sector. A key tenet of co-design is that users, as 'experts' of their own experience, become central to the design process, especially in youth policies. A great example of co-design in action is the call for proposals undertaken by the Municipality of Monza, titled “Spazi giovanili di nuova generazione”. The article will offer a space for reflection on co-design not only as product innovation, but also as a community laboratory and social responsibility practice.
