The essay reflects on the new poverties, in which the boundaries between spaces of inclusion and social exclusion have blurred. Thinking about poverty and vulnerability through a social and community interpretation, therefore, requires the promotion of policies based on interdependence and reciprocity, integrating welfare needs with existential ones. In particular, the impact of the area of ​​new poverty on children will be examined in depth.
