The photographic style of Yasmina Reza's writing reveals a strong debt to Francis Ponge’s writing. By associating these two authors, it is possible to trace a kind of genealogy of the gaze on objects, and, at the same time, not only a genealogy of the gaze that objects exert on us, looking back at us, but clearly a biomythology of the writer in a fictional regime.
