(2022). De nouvelles dénominations pour un concept ancien: le rôle de l’adjectif qualificatif, de l’adjectif relationnel et du substantif épithète dans les processus d’innovation néologique en temps de pandémie [journal article - articolo]. In REPÈRES-DORIF. Retrieved from https://hdl.handle.net/10446/240037
abstract:
As a result of the devastating consequences of the Ebola virus in 2014, in 2017 the World Bank issued pandemic bonds, securities that function as insurance policies. In this article we focus on the structure of compound terms that have the term obligation as head term in order to analyse how the different types of compound terms (noun + noun, relational adjective + noun, qualifying adjective + noun) can function as a way of encouraging interest on the part of investors. Finally, we study those aspects of pandemic bonds which are the focus of the World Bank’s institutional communication and the French specialized press.
