The sense of childhood, ever more deeply rooted in the literary production at the end of the eighteenth century and the Romantic period, is accompanied by a growing interest in childhood characters from the authors of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The historical-thematic approach allows you to map out how the child is evoked before by d'Annunzio (poet and novelist) and Pascoli (poet and pedagogue), then by the generation of crepuscular poets (Gozzano, Corazzini, Palazzeschi, Moretti and many more ), heirs of the two previous authors.
