Since April 2022, I am Associate Professor in Social Psychology, University of Bergamo (IT), where I started working in November 2019 as a researcher. From November 2008 and October 2019, I have worked as a researcher at the University of Chieti-Pescara (IT). I obtained my PhD in Social psychology in 2005, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland. Between August 2022 and July 2003, I have been granted a Marie Curie Training Site Fellow (12 months), at the Laboratoire de Psychologie Sociale, E.H.E.S.S., Paris, France. In 2023, I have won a PRIN PNRR with a project entitled “Fostering STEM inclusion among girls with migrant background: the role of educational robots”, with the University of Milano-Bicocca (IT). My research interests deal with different dimensions of social psychology, such as psychology of prejudice and health psychology. Moreover, I also deal myself with outcome evaluation of educational robotics. I have research experiences with either quantitative and qualitative research methods. I currently serve as ad-hoc reviewer for many different journals in social psychology and I am Associate Editor for Frontiers in Psychology and BMC Psychology journals. (last update 15/12/25)
