Victoria Bogushevskaya holds a double degree in Modern Chinese and Chinese Philology from two distinguished academic institutions in the field: Beijing Language and Culture University in China and the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok, Russia.
Her doctorate in Chinese Linguistics (10.02.22) was awarded by the Institute of Asian and African Studies, M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, for a dissertation on the semantics of Chinese colour terms.
She has delivered guest lectures at the following institutions: - University of Zurich (2013) - Ruhr University Bochum (2017) - University of Sofia (2018) - Lomonosov Moscow State University (2018).
From 2010 until 2021, she held the position of Adjunct Professor at the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" (2010-2012) and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (2011-2021).
From 2021 until 2024: Associate Professor of Chinese Language and Translation at the University of Salento.
Since November 2024: Associate Professor of Chinese Linguistics and Translation at the University of Bergamo.
Member of the Board (2024-2026) of the European Association for Chinese Studies.
