MALETTA Santino Raffaele

Sante Maletta is Associated Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Bergamo. His major works: "L’etica tra storia e teorie: esperienze etiche anglosassoni contemporanee e rilevanza filosofica della letteratura" (Roma, 1999), "Hannah Arendt e Martin Heidegger: l’esistenza in giudizio" (Milano, 2001), "Biografia della ragione. Saggio sulla filosofia politica di MacIntyre" (Soveria Mannelli, 2007), "Il giusto della politica. Il soggetto dissidente e lo spazio pubblico" (Milano, 2012), "Il soggetto dif-ferente. Peripezie della responsabilità" (Milano, 2016), "Un aristotelismo sovversivo. MacIntyre oltre il dis-ordine liberale" (Milano, 2020). He edited the Italian edition of "What Is Existenz-Philosophy?" (Milano, 1998) e "We Refugees" (Trieste, 2020) by H. Arendt, "Rilkes Duineser Elegien" by H. Arendt and G. Anders (Trieste, 2014), and "Ethics in the Conflicts of Modernity" by A. MacIntyre (Milano, 2024). He edited "Il legame segreto: la libertà in Hannah Arendt" (Soveria Mannelli, 2005), "I Giusti e la memoria del bene. Chi salva una vita salva il mondo intero" (Milano, 2006), "Dalla memoria alla storia. Esperienze educative e questioni teoriche" (Soveria Mannelli, 2008), "La sovranità in legame" (Milano, 2015), "Practical Rationality & Human Difference" (Milano, 2022). He is a member of the Steering Committee of the International Society for Macintyrean Enquiry and of the Italian Society of Political Philosophy. Since 2023 he has been the Director of the classes A-18 e A-19 at the Centre for the Teacher Training (CeFI) of the Universities of Bergamo and Brescia.
