GALIZZI Giovanna

Giovanna Galizzi is Associate Professor of Accounting at the Department of Management, University of Bergamo (Italy). She is the Rector's Delegate for Gender Policies and, since 2019, has led the "Gender Budgeting Process" at the University of Bergamo.
Her scientific research focuses mainly on the public sector, and concerns gender issues in accounting, with a particular focus on the integration of the gender perspective into planning, measuring and reporting processes (e.g. Gender Equality Plan, Gender-Responsive Budgeting) in universities, local authorities and healthcare organizations.
Her research appeared in international journals such as: Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Public Management Review, Financial Accountability & Management, Public Money & Management, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management.
She is a member of the editorial board of Public Money & Management Journal.
