From the academic year 1999/2000 to 2005/2006 I was a professor of "Sociology of Communication" and "Sociology of Training and Communication Processes" at the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Catholic University of Brescia; from the academic year 2004/2005, to 2007/2008 I was a professor of "Methods and techniques of social research on the media" at the Master's degree in "Communication and Training", Catholic University of Milan.

Since the academic year 2005/2006 I have been a professor at the Faculty of Education Sciences of University of Bergamo (now the Department of Human and Social Sciences).
Currently, I am the referent for Orientation of the same Department.

Courses at Unibg: Sociology of Communication (LT Educational Sciences), Issues of Sociology of School (LCU Primary Education Sciences), Sociology of Cultural Processes (LM Pedagogical Sciences).

The most recent researches have been carried out in the field of Gender Studies (intergenerational and intragender relations), with a specific attention to cultural and educational processes, masculinities and educational care.

I have a specif interest in Public Engagement and in the connection between scientific knowledge and artistic languages.
