INSTITUTIONAL DUTIES
President of the Master Degree in Primary Education Sciences, Department of Human and Social Sciences, University of Bergamo, since October 1, 2022.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
2007: PhD in "Person, Development, Learning. Epistemological, Theoretical, and Applied Perspectives," 19th Cycle, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan.
2003: Licensed to practice as a psychologist, with registration in Section A of the Register of Psychologists of the Lombardy Region (registration number: 03/8149).
2001: Master Degree in Psychology with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
Scientific research is set in the filed of Developmental and Educational Psychology in typical and atypical developmental conditions, with particular attention to the study of behaviors and the main psychological functions from an ontogenetic life-span perspective. It is structured around the following topics:
1) the capacity of meta-representation or Theory of Mind in typical and atypical developmental conditions across the life-span;
2) decision-making processes and Theory of Mind across the life-span;
3) Theory of Mind and socio-emotional competence;
4) the emotional-affective dynamics of the child-caregiver relationship.
She has been a full member of the AIP (Italian Psychology Association), Developmental and Educational Psychology Section, since 2004. She was the Coordinator of the AIP Thematic Group "Psychology for the Changing School."
Member of the scientific and teaching staff of the PhD program "Human and Social Sciences," Department of Human and Social Sciences, University of Bergamo.
Teaching activities are set within the field of Developmental and Educational Psychology, with teaching also carried out in TFA programs, Master's programs, and advanced courses.
